For three consecutive years, I had the honor of captaining the GSIS Primary School Cricket Team to victory in the Inter-school Leagues' Cricket Hong Kong Tournament. This unprecedented feat in the annals of German Swiss International School earned our team the prestigious Dream Team award, a recognition that filled us with immense pride.

Buoyed by this success, I felt compelled to expand our cricketing legacy. This motivation led me to spearhead the creation of the secondary school cricket team, ushering in a new era for GSIS cricket.

The 2023-2024 Hong Kong Secondary School Cricket League marked a historic milestone for us - it was the debut season for the GSIS Secondary School Cricket Team. Breaking new ground, we fielded a secondary school cricket team for the first time in German Swiss's history, a moment of significant pride for our institution. Our inaugural squad comprised 14 gifted cricketers, each demonstrating unwavering dedication, tireless effort, and remarkable resilience throughout our training sessions and matches.

This journey from primary school triumphs to establishing a secondary school team represents not just personal growth, but also the evolution of cricket within our school community. It's a testament to the enduring spirit of the sport and the passion it ignites in young players.
