Seeing the success of participating in a host of Mathematical Olympiads, I knew that I had to extend my mathematical knowledge. In an endeavour to explore the use of mathematics in solving real-life problems, I was intrigued by the applications of Advanced mathematical techniques in the field of Artificial Intelligence. I joined a Machine Learning course (run by Stanford University) and was elated to complete it in just over 7 weeks (for original schedule of 11 weeks) and scored 98.03%.

During summer of 2022, to extend my foundational development in mathematics, I completed two rigorous university level mathematics courses from Hong Kong University and Stanford University. I gained a whole new perspective about the focus of university level mathematics courses in research applications to solve real world problems.
My passion for mathematics drove me to aspire to learn under Prof Simon Rubinstein Salzedo to do pure mathematics in Euler's Circle in the course Mathematics of Euler. This taught me complex mathematical concepts such as the use of Brachistorone curves, Abel summations, and Cesaro summations. Through the Program in Algorithmic and Combinatorial Thinking Course, I learned the applications of probabilistic models to approach solving real-life problems.

To enhance my learning further in the domain of applying mathematics for solving real-life problems, I worked under the guidance of Professor Narayan Rangaraj of IIT Bombay (IEOR) to learn techniques of linear optimization with a focus on PESP. Used Linear Programming and Big M formulation to optimize train rack demand for Jindal Steel India.
